2011.2012年世界總會長 廖祿立 傑人會於1968年創立於台灣台中市，它是一個非政治性、非營利、非宗教性的社會服務團體。其創設的宗旨，期許參加的會友們能從內在的「培養倫理、品德，成就高尚人格」，再到「努力於專業與事業的成就，以繁榮社會」，專業、事業有成之後，更要「奉獻熱誠與愛心，促進社會祥和，並期許己立立人，培養傑出人才」。我們共同願景，就是結合有此共識的會友們，能影響社會變得更溫馨美好。

Distinguished Citizens Society (DCS) was found in 1968 in Taichung, Taiwan. It is a non-political, non-profit and non-religious social service association. Its aim is to encourage DCS members to raise ethics and morality and achieve noble personality; to devote to the specialty and career achievement and prosper the society; to unify the members to offer enthusiasm 這 to the public welfare, take the social responsibility of a citizen, and promote the auspicious society; to pursue self-realization and simultaneously foster others achievements and nurture peoples' outstanding talent. Our vision is to cooperate with like-minded DCS members to influence and better our society.    

製作本DM主要目的是讓更多人認識傑人會的宗旨與活動的內容，使有認同傑人會的朋友們樂於加入傑人會的行列，一同共襄盛舉，共創一個美好的社會的同時，也培養出一群的傑出人才。誠摯地邀請您參與。並祝福您   幸福快樂

The goal of this DM is to promote the aims and events of DCS to more people and invite those who agree with DCS vision to join us with our greatest sincerity. Let’s cooperate together on creating a better society and training outstanding members. Wish you a blissful life. 發展歷史 History 【創會期】 傑人會創會長金扶東先生結合54位創會會員，1968年12月28日在台灣台中市創立第一個傑人會「台中市傑人會」。 【Starting period】 Mr. JING,FU-DONG, the founder of DCS, with 54 founding members, founded the first DCS “DCS Taichung City” in 1968 December 28th, Taichung, Taiwan. 【中期發展】 金創會長帶領傑人會，從台中市傑人會一個地方分會社團出發，23年後分會遍及全台，有23個地區分會，1992年在台北市成立「中華民國總會」，從一個地區社團發展成立國家總會社團，之後全球各地相繼成立了美國總會、日本總會、港澳總會、烏克蘭總會、俄羅斯總會、澳洲總會，台灣地區以外另有10個地方分會。 【Mid-term development】 DCS expanded from the first one to 23 branches all over Taiwan under Mr. JING,FU-DONG’s leadership in the first 23 years. In 1992, DCS of R.O.C was founded in Taipei. DCS grew from local to a nationwide and worldwide association. Since then, DCS USA, DCS Japan, DCS Hongkong/Macau, DCS Ukraine, DCS Russia, DCS Australia and other 10 worldwide branches were founded.        【長期發展】 傑人會經歷26年全體會員的努力成長及茁壯，1994年在美國德州休士頓成立國際傑人會世界總會，並將傑人會正名為國際傑人會。成為國際社會公益服務社團，確立國際傑人會長期發展的方向路線。

【Long-term development】 With efforts of all DCS members, DCS grew and expanded prosperously in the first 26 years. DCS International World Association was founded in Houston, Texas, USA in 1994. The official name of DCS was renamed as DCS International, which defined the roadmap of long-term development as an international social service association.        

  會名 金創會長創會動機，組織一個具有中華文化重視倫理品德的國際社團，經過多次研究，並請教很多知識人士，延伸這個組織基本理念，從重視個人品德的內在修為，進而培養傑出人才，奉獻服務社會，要人人都傑出，所以選定「傑人會」為會名。本會中文名稱：「國際傑人會」，英文名稱：「Distinguished Citizens Society International」簡稱為DCS。 The name of DCS The motivation of the founder Mr. Jing was to organize an international association which emphasized ethics and morality based on Chinese culture. After several studies and discussions with many intellectuals, Mr. Jing extended his fundamental principles from individual ethics and morality to raise outstanding citizens who dedicate themselves to social service. Thus, the name "Distinguished Citizens Society International" can fully stand for this vision.  

傑人字義 從傑人會所揭示的宗旨，從個人內在的品格道德培養，進而在專業能力的提昇，有成就之後服務社會，帶給社會正面的影響力，是謂傑人。   Definition of “Distinguished Citizens Society”   The so called “Distinguished Citizens Society” refers to the DCS association which aims to cultivate personal inner morality and ethics and have positive effect on society by dedicating themselves to serve the society.  

創會長金扶東先生簡介 Introduction to the founder Mr. JIN,FU-DONG 【家世、教育】 【Family and Education】   金先生於1921年9月出生於中國河南開封市，金氏家族為河南名望士紳，1940年代就讀北平輔仁大學，輔仁人文薰陶，培養金先生往後崇高的服務理念。 Mr. Jing was born in Kaifeng, Henan, China in September 1921 in a renowned family. Mr. enrolled at Fu-jen University in Beijing. The campus cultural atmosphere cultivated his exalted ideal of social service.                   
       
【記者生涯、拓展人生】 【Journalist and businessman period 】   1949年12月國民政府搬遷台北，金先生任職軍中電台，隨政府遷台，定居台中 市，1953年與故黨國大老陳立夫先生令妹結婚，其後轉任台灣新聞報、中央日 報記者，再轉升專欄評論，特派員，創辦週刊、月刊，並跨足經營事業，創立 台中市西區合作社(台中市第一信用合作社前身)，西餐廳、體育用品製造、建設 公司等，事業如日中天。   In December 1949, KMT government retreated from China to Taipei. Mr. Jing served in a military radio station and he moved with the government and settled down in Taichung.    In 1953, Mr. Jing married the sister of former KMT high and mighty person, Mr. Chen Li-Fu . Since then, Mr. Jing worked as a journalist in Taiwan Newspaper, Central Diary and promoted as a special column commentator and a special correspondent, founding weekly and monthly publications. He also started business of the Credit Cooperative of West District of Taichung (the predecessor of the First Credit Cooperative of Taichung), restaurants, sports equipment manufacture and established a construction company at his summit of business.

【投入社團活動、啟發創會構想】 1959年金先生38歲時成立「台中市國際青商會」擔任創會長，從此金先生投入國際性公益服務社團，成為終身的國際志工。並由於掌理國際青商會會務，啟發金先生創立傑人會的動機，1967年開始研究各國際社服團體發展情形，並準備開始創辦一個具有中華文化道德精神的國際性社服團體，在台灣生根成長，並進一步推展到全球各國。

【Dedication to social service and inspiration of founding DCS】 In 1959, Mr. Jing founded Junior Chamber International of Taichung at his age of 38. Since then Mr. Jing dedicated himself to international social service as a life-long international volunteer. The experience of managing Junior Chamber International of Taichung inspired Mr. Jing to establish DCS. From 1967, Mr. Jing studied the development of international social service associations, which prepared him to found another international social service association, based on Chinese culture, ethics and morality, rooted in Taiwan, expanding itself to the whole world.    

【名言】 【Quotation】   金先生帶領國際傑人會33年，終其一生奉獻傑人會，享年八十一歲，金創會長名言之一「世界上最受尊敬的人，就是幫助別人不求回報的人」，展現傑人之父，默默奉獻社會，崇高的熱誠與愛心，成為傑人會永遠的標竿典範。 Mr. Jing leaded DSC for 33 years and dedicated his whole life to DCS until his death at the age of 81. One of his quotations is “The most respected persons are those who help others and do not seek the return”. Mr. Jing, as a father of DCS, set up a good example of DCS by contributing himself to the society silently with exalted enthusiasm and compassion.      

願景及使命 Vision and Mission 願景：成為全球最傑出的社會服務性團體，走入各國主流社會。 使命：鼓勵與培養傑出人才，自立立人，人人都傑出。 Vision: To be the top social service association and step into the mainstream societies in the whole world.   Mission: To encourage and nurture peoples’ outstanding talent. To pursues self-realization and simultaneously fosters others achievements  

傑人價值 對會員價值：培養會員成為傑出人才。 對社會價值：提供社會正向的影響力，使社會發展得更健康更美好。 Value of DCS:   Value to the members- To nurture peoples’ outstanding talent. Value to the society- To provide the society with positive influence and better the society.

傑人宗旨 培養倫理品德，成就高尚人格。 努力專業與事業，繁榮社會。 奉獻熱誠與愛心，促進社會祥和。 期許己立立人，培養傑出人才。 The DCS Tenets Raises ethics and morality, achieves noble personality.   Devotes to the specialty and career achievement, prospers the society.    Unifies the members to offer enthusiasm and compassion to the public welfare, takes the social responsibility of a citizen, and promotes the auspicious society.    Pursues self-realization and simultaneously fosters others achievements, nurtures peoples’ outstanding talent.

【美國總會】健康講座與義診 這是一個以中醫為主軸，分享保健與治療觀念、現場義診及附設身體調理站，為感恩雙親回饋社區活動。 【DCS USA】Lecture on Health and Volunteer Medical Consultation This event, based on Chinese medicine, not only shared concept of health care and treatments but also provided volunteer medical consultation and set up a station for physical condition maintenance. This event was held to thank parents and community.    
【美國總會/矽谷傑人會】親子教育講座 一群移民美國的新手媽媽，分享教養小孩的經驗，並解答教養上的困惑，成功推動服務社區媽媽活動。 【DCS USA/ Silicon Valley】Lecture on Parenting Education A group of immigrant new hand mothers shared their parenting experience and gave advices on parenting problems. It was a successful community service event.   
【日本總會】掃街活動 會員共同掃街活動，主動關懷服務社區，營造愛與祥和的社會。 【DCS Japan】Streets Sweeping Event Members showed their sincere care towards the community by sweeping streets together to build up a society with love and harmony.  
    DCS DM part 2

    【港澳總會/香港會】生意工作太累了，幸福生活在何處？ 透通過講座给中小企業負責人一些思考空間，找出「生意工作太累了，幸福生活在何處？」的答案!

【DCS Hong Kong/ Macau / Hong Kong】 Exhausted from business and work. Where is my happiness? This lecture provided thinking space to owners of small and medium enterprises and helped them find out the answer to the subject “Exhausted from business and work. Where is my happiness?”.

【澳洲總會】雪梨國際慈善長跑 參加為慈善機構募款的雪梨慈善馬拉松，將參加的慈善款全數捐給澳洲慈濟功德會。

【DCS Australia】Sydney International Charitable Long Run Marathon The donations collected in this event were completely donated to Tzu Chi Foundation Australia   

【中華民國總會/台北市會】大專外交經貿研習營 幫助大學有志青年，提早具備國際觀與領袖特質，培養具有國際化競爭力傑出人才，實現本會培養傑出人才宗旨。

【DCS of R.O.C/ Taipei】Undergraduate Seminar on International Trade, Economy and Diplomacy This event equipped undergraduate students with global perspective and leadership and raised them as outstanding people with global competitive capacity.

【中華民國總會/台中縣會】傑人盃台中國際肢體障礙桌球公開賽 鼓勵身心障礙同胞從事運動競賽，藉由運動激發潛能肯定自我並達到運動復健之效果，同時發掘優秀選手為國爭光。

【DCS of R.O.C/ Taichung County】DCS Cup Taichung International Handicap Table Tennis Grand Open This event encouraged handicaps to join sports competition, restored their health and inspired potential and achieved self confidence by sports. Also, talented athletes were discovered to win glory for the country.

【中華民國總會/中一區：台中市全健會、台中市會、台中市忠孝會、台中市仁愛、台中市和平、台中市時代青年會、台中市文化會】傑人盃全國馬拉松接力賽 馬拉松以接力賽的方式進行，除具備跑步的耐力與毅力，更重要的是激發團隊精神。每隊第4棒必需是女性，鼓勵女性加入運動，是一項具有特色的大型活動。 【DCS of R.O.C/ Zhongyi area/ DCS C.C / TAICHUNG CITY / TAICHUNG CITY Zhong-Xiao /TAICHUNG CITY JEN-AI / TAICHUNG CITY HO-PIN /Taichung Times Youth / Cultural Taichung】DCS CUP National Marathon Relay This Marathon relay requires stamina to run and spirits for team-work. The fourth runner was limited to be a female encourage females to join sport events. This is a featured and large-scale event.    

【中華民國總會/台中市文化會】教育花園分享會 透過活動與社會人士分享更多的教師傑出精彩教育案例，老師與同學一起築夢感動的過程，以具體行動感恩教師，培育社會下一代主人，付出偉大的愛心。 【DCS of R.O.C/ Cultural Taichung】Education Garden This event introduces many outstanding teaching stories, including the process of making dreams come true accomplished by teachers and students to the society. This event also showed gratitude by specific actions to teachers who dedicated their great love to nurse masters of the next generation. 

【中華民國總會/台中市會、南投縣會】認養愛的書庫 響應台灣閱讀文化基金會的愛心，推廣閱讀，為社會提供正向影響力。 This event cooperated with Taiwan Reading Culture Foundation to promote reading and provide positive impact on the society.

「鼓勵與培養傑出人才」，正是傑人會的精神。我們竭誠歡迎願意「奉獻熱誠與愛心」， 認同傑人會的朋友們一同加入傑人會的行列。若您對國際傑人會 (DCS) 表示興趣，您也可以就近請洽詢DCS 或您的本地分會，取得更多詳細資訊。 “Nurturing peoples’ outstanding talent” is the goal of DCS. We sincerely welcome those who agree with DCS and are willing to “devote their enthusiasm and compassion” to join us. 入會資格： 1.贊同本會宗旨並自願服膺本會信條。 2.年滿二十歲之社會人士。 3.有正當職業，身心健康，思想純正。 Qualification
1. Those who agree with DSC tenets and obey DCS creeds of their own free will.
2. Those who are above the age of 20.  
3. Those who have decent jobs and are physically, mentally healthy and pure in thought and deed.
